Orange democratic Party leader, Honorable Raila Odinga is one man who has been an opposition pillar for many years. He has mastered the art of sustaining his backyard for years without losing a political grip despite losing election.
Despite losing the presidential election more than five times. He has always found his way to the government of the day leaving Kenyans talking.
Well, Odinga has finally revealed to Kenyans who asked him to run for the African nation’s top seat. This is coming just months after he declared his Candidature.

Speaking in Vihiga county on December 1, 2024, during the homecoming ceremony of ODM party deputy party leader Osothi. Raila claimed that elders approached him with a suggestion he runs for the AUC chair.
They allegedly told him there is a problem in Addis Ababa that needed his attention. To solve that, he should be at the headquarters there.
“Elders came to me with a suggestion on running for AUC chair position in the upcoming elections. They told me, there’s a problem in Addis Ababa that needed my attention as a resourceful leader. After evaluating their sentiments, I decided to go for it and I will defend Africa to the last man.” Said Raila Odinga.
