Siaya County governor James Orengo is hitting the headlines again with his bold remarks in a video seen by this writer. Orengo, once a strong defender of Orange democratic Party leader Raila Odinga is turning out to be a critic of his party leader.
Many are of view, the replay of 90s scuffles that saw Orengo and Odinga clash publicly leading to throwing of teargas to separate them. This was after Orengo had banned Odinga from stepping his feet in Ugunja, Siaya County.
Well, a few days ago, he made it public why he is not supporting a broad based government. According to him, it is against the constitution they fought for and that President William Ruto is not a trusted fellow. He continued by explaining why Raila cannot win election despite being the most popular person in the country for over twenty years.

Well, according to the video shared widely online. While speaking at a function, Orengo claimed that Raila cannot win an election in the country because independent institutions are compromised by those in power.
According to him, even if they try so hard to clinch the seat, those in power will do everything to block that and the main focus should be on making sure that the independent institutions are free and Fair to everyone.
He asked Kenyan youths to fight for their spaces in leadership and this time when they hit the streets, he will be with them in the protests to make sure that things work out well.
