Since the day of Parliament inversion and attack on the members of Parliament by youths who were demanding for accountability.
Cases of abductions and disappearance have been common. Many Kenyans have been on record blaming the government and police department for allegedly killing youths who took part in the protests.
Several bodies were picked from isolated areas. Some were dumped in dams for the case of University student, Omondi.
He was dumped in a quarry site in Kiambu after being tortured and killed. The killing was linked to a video of him at the national assembly ground celebrating the storming of Parliament.
Wajir County, a member of the county assembly was abducted and until today, the family is crying for justice. He has never been found. Kenyans are still asking questions about who abducted him and why it happened that way.

Well, the police boss has set the record straight on the said abductions and disappearance of Kenyans.
Addressing the National assembly committee on security. Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja has set the record straight claiming that no abdication in the country is conducted by police officers.
According to him, the said abductions are just procedural arrests as per the law. Those prominent people who were arrested had cases to answer and the police were just enforcing the law.
