President William Ruto was once a darling to many Kenyans. He is no longer at peace with the same people who voted for him overwhelmingly.

He had significant support from leaders in the central region. They did not want Uhuru to dictate to them. The decision of who should be voted in as President in the 2022 general election was theirs to make.

Gachagua is a ground mobilizer and crowd puller with his antics unlike Kindiki. During the 2022 general election, Gachagua’s mobilization skills were seen by many as he was able to hold huge rallies even without being accompanied by Ruto.
President William Ruto will have to move with speed and find a solution for the current political temperatures in the Mount Kenya region. It seems like we are officially in a political mood as a country despite elections being three years away.
