Orange Democratic party leader Honerable Raila Odinga is currently focused on winning AU Chairperson seat. He is pitching the tent in China together with his political brother President William Ruto.
From his official X account, he seems to be gaining ground in the quest after holding meetings with various Presidents.
Well, things are not well back at home. Today ok August 5, 2024. Daily Nation reported that Odinga will retire in October and handover the mantle to other leaders. The publication forced Orange democratic Party Secretary general to issue a statement on the same.
According to ODM party. Raila Odinga is not retiring and no such discussions has taken place. Sifuna has claimed that Daily Nation Wrote something that is not true at all.
He asked them to retract such statement and apologize for making such statements which could lead to a discord within ODM party flowers.
“Our party leader is here to stay. He is only going for international duty and we are lending him to the bigger stage. Allow him to serve Africans now without this sideshows” read report.
