Kenyans lost their lives during the viewing of the late Honorable Raila Odinga’s remains at Kasarani stadium.
Some were shot dead and some lost their precious lives in the stampede that occurred after chaos emerged at the stadium and teargas thrown by Police officers.
Through the media, the families have been crying for justice from the government after autopsy confirmed that two of them Passed Away after being shot point-blank.

According to the party’s secretary general Edwin Sifuna, his office is in contact with the families of the departed souls and he is hopping by the end of the day, he will reach every family that stuffed loses during the stampede and shooting that occurred while viewing the body of the late Raila Odinga.
My office is in contact with some of the families who lost their loved ones during Baba’s send off at Kasarani and Nyayo. Those were needless and unfortunate deaths most of them due to gunshot wounds. We have extended our condolences and pledged support in this tragic loss. We hope to have reached all of them by day end today.” Posted Sifuna.
