President William Ruto is currently serving his first term in office. Since his election in 2022, he has been determined to change Kenya with new policies.
However, it seems like Kenyans are not reading the same script he is using to run the country. His inability to impress all Kenyans forced him to ask the support of Raila Odinga in a formation that has sparked mixed reaction.
He asked Raila Odinga to allow his troops to join his cabinet after youths protests that almost plunged the country to anarchy. His move has however caused jitters within United Democratic Party hence putting his reelection possiblity in limbo.

Well, Homabay Town member of Parliament has claimed that President William Ruto will win second term if Raila backs him. Through his X account, Kaluma has elicited mixed reactions online with a section of Kenyans asking him to stop politics.
They have accused his party leader, Honerable Raila Odinga for taking advantage of the noble protests to join the government. His allies were appointed to the government by Ruto in what they called broad based government.
