Saboti member of Parliament Caleb Hamisi has come out to clear the air on the impeachment of President William Ruto just weeks after the removal of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
For the better part of the day, a video of him circulated online. In the video, he asked the Members of Parliament to support his motion to impeach Ruto. He also asked generation Z to attack any legislator who fails to support the motion.
Well, through his X platform, Hamisi has claimed the video is an old one. He claimed that it was during finance bill protests that the video was made and has nothing to do with the current situation.

He posted the response after Homabay Town member of Parliament Kaluma asked him what he was intending to achieve with such a statement.
The Orange democratic Party is one of the parties that supported the impeachment of Gachagua. Ruto even went ahead to appoint ODM members to his cabinet ending nation-wide Protests that had rocked the country.
” My brother @gpdkaluma ,this is an old clip when both of us were excited with the anti finance bill revolt. If I remove your clips, then it will be worse. Learn not to always be reactive in politics.” Caleb Amisi.
