“Ruto Must Go” chants have been witnessed across the country lately. A section of Kenyans have been calling for the resignation of president William Ruto, a man who was massively loved by many people a few years back.
What went wrong? What is he doing that might be making Kenyans have such an opinion? What should he do to satisfy those who voted for him passionately in the 2022 general election.
First, before we address the question above. Sports cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen alleged one reason Ruto is hated by a section of Kenyans.

Speaking in Kericho County, Murkomen claimed that a section of Kenyans hate William Ruto because of his tribe. He alleged that Kenyans are only comparing him to former President Daniel Moi and not even his former boss Uhuru Kenyatta. He maintained that William Ruto has achieved more in two years as compared to all other head of States.
” We should criticize President William Ruto on factual grounds. Some people here are only focused on where the President is coming from. Why are they only linking his record to moi and not even Uhuru or Kibaki. We should give him time to work for Kenyans and deliver what he promised to Kenyans.” Said Murkomen.
