Today on November 4, 2024. Kenyans are celebrating supreme Court existence. The court has now been aroused for 12 years since its formation.
The supreme court of Kenya is the highest court in the country and is Known worldwide as one of the few courts that nullified Presidential election.
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta election was nullified by then Maraga led court spending shockwaves in the world. This was one of the greatest achievements of that court.
Well, now the same court has a test of time to determine former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua case which is seemingly headed that way. Despite being removed from office, Gachagua is fighting to clear his name and be able to vie again.

Well, Chief Justice Martha Koome has sent a message to Kenyans about court political views. She has assured Kenyans the supreme court is politically neutral and that Kenyans should not worry about anything at all.
“I want to assure Kenyans that Supreme Court Judges are politically neutral and are concerned with only determining the legal and evidential issues before the Court”. CJ Koome.
Kenyans Reactions.
“But Madam, we have so many Kenyans who lost interest in this court. The cases are mostly favoring those with money and more influence. We cannot forget that all. You must regain our trust first before all these promises.” Posted Andrew.
