Kenya is drama after drama, and a new incident from Tendwet, Narok, has once again stirred the internet. A viral video shows a man assaulting a police officer who was attempting to prevent him from walking into the path of a helicopter that was about to take off.
According to eyewitnesses, the man had rushed toward the chopper in an attempt to retrieve his daughter’s dog, which had wandered dangerously close to the aircraft.
The helicopter’s propellers were already spinning, posing a life-threatening risk. Sensing imminent danger, a police officer sprinted to block the man from approaching the chopper.

Instead of stopping, the man turned violent. The video shows him slapping the officer repeatedly and even attempting to kick him as the officer tried to restrain him. Nearby residents, shocked by the turn of events, quickly intervened and pulled the man away before he could cause further harm.
Police confirmed that the man was later arrested and will be booked on charges of assaulting a police officer. Authorities have urged the public to respect law enforcement officers and allow them to perform their duties, especially in high-risk environments like helicopter takeoffs.
