Former Kakamega County Senator Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah today landed at Mumias Sports Complex in a chopper. His arrival brought the stadium to a standstill leaving football fans celebrating him.
However, it was not Malalah’s wish to land in a Chopper at the National Secondary school games. According to him in an exclusive interview, Malalah claimed that some people had planned to attack his motorcade for political reasons.
He claimed to have received intelligence that a section of people were stationed at the entrance of Mumias Sports Complex Stadium with an intention of blocking his entry. This prompted him to use alternative means hence landing in a Chopper.

Instead of moving to the main tent where VIPs were seated, he opted for ordinary tents where he sat with the rest of Kenyans who were attending the function. He later left with many people who had attended.
“They set goons to block and stone his vehicles at the entrance of the stadium.
Guy’s chopper landed in the middle of the pitch,(to their dismay), guy ignored their ‘ka red carpet,’ fake smiles and Vip seats choosing to instead share space with those who matter;Wananchi.
He then left the stadium with the entire multitude dancing with him to the Wan Tam Anthem. ” Posted Wandalo, communication officer in the office of Malalah.
