For days now, the Orange Democratic party member of the minority leader at the National Assembly has been fronted for the interior Cabinet Secretary position.
This came after interior Cabinet Secretary Kindiki was promoted to the position of Deputy President of the republic of Kenya.
He went up the ladder to replace Gachagua who was impeached by the national assembly and Senate.
Well, through his official socials, Junet has set the record straight on his taking over the most crucial docket and position of ODM over the same.
In the latter shared, Junet has claimed he is not interested in getting the interior Cabinet Secretary position. His focus is now on the leadership at the national assembly where he was elected leader of the minority.

He is focused on delivering the agenda of the minority in the assembly with energy. He has also gone ahead to clarify that the orange Democratic party is not planning to add president William Ruto more experts form its team.
With this declaration, it means President William Ruto will have to focus somewhere else for the person to fill the interior docket.
Recently, Kikuyu member of Parliament, Kimani Ichungwa’h also issued a statement distancing himself from the position. He went on to say he did not lead impeachment against gachagua for you to get a powerful cabinet slot. Well, let’s see what happens next.
