National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah was on May 25,2025, heckled and forced to stop his speech in the Mount Kenya region. The seemingly angry residents did not agree with Ichung’wah’s sentiments and decided to force him out of stage.
Ichung’wah is one of the legislators who Impeached Gachagua and publicly celebrated his removal from the office. It seems like things are not turning out as expected.
Well, according to the video shared widely, Kimani Ichung’wah attempted to attack former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in Kabete, Kiambu county.

He claimed that, the money being shared by Kindiki with artists was the reason Gachagua is angry. This statement did not sit well with those who had attended the event, they shouted him down demanding that he stop addressing them immediately.
” I know that the money being given to our artists here is the one angering the previous holder of the office Kindiki is holding. He is angry that Kenyans are being empowered by us and Kindiki who is focused now on serving Kenyans.” Said Ichung’wah.
The heckling of Ichung’wah is an indication that Mount Kenya politics will be unpredictable and People will have to align themselves well for them to get elected in the 2027 general election.
