Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who is in the United States of America on a two month tour has reacted to the attacks on the opposition team by police officers.
According to the video shared online by Kenyans, armed police officers are seen lobbying teargas towards the opposition team Convoy which was being led by nyandarua County Senator Methu.
Their vehicles were vandalized too with bullet holes seen on them. Well, Gachagua has sent new demands to President William Ruto. Through his social media accounts, Gachagua has demanded for the arrest of all those who planned and facilitated the attacks on the opposition team.

He has continued by telling President William Ruto that he will not force Kenyans to love him and instead he should be worried about the rejections he is getting.
“I have learnt of the unfortunate event at Ngonda Shopping Center, in Murang’a where state-sponsored Militia accompanied by the rogue police officers under instructions of Mr. William Ruto and CS for Interior Kipchumba Murkomen have violently beaten wananchi and leaders after church service in Murang’a county.
This is barbaric, dictatorial, and violence against the very soul of our nation, which is our constitution. Mr. William Ruto, read the preamble of our Constitution. In any case, you never supported its passing in 2010, and you have never changed your position, but Kenya has gone on. “Posted Gachagua.
“Mr. William Ruto, what do you gain through deaths and bloodshed? How do you go to church, reconcile your conscience at the Holy Alter while you instruct your police and goons to kill Kenyans in the same neighborhood? For how long will you repress the people of Kenya and mutilate our constitution? Do you think Kenyans will love you by force and intimidation?” Added Gachagua.
