The impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua seems to be changing how President William Ruto moves around. When they came to power in 2022, the hustlers duo were seen as a savour of what was ailing Kenya at that time.
They could be seen moving around together explaining their policies to those who believed in them at that time. Things seem to have changed completely from Ruto’s Latest Moves.
According to keen observers, president William Ruto has missed attending church services in Mount Kenya for about 2 months now. This is not normal for him compared to his previous conduct. He could not miss more than two weeks before attending a service in Mount Kenya region.
Many people are linking his absence from the ongoing impeachment process against Gachagua. They are alleging he fears a possible backlash if he visits the region.

“On a normal Sunday like today, President William Ruto would be somewhere in Mt. Kenya attending a church service, explaining why Adani is beneficial for them. Nowadays he only operates in Uasin Gishu where his sheeps are still in plenty, he’s in moiben today to sell mediocrity.” Posted Diano.
“It seems like he lost Mount Kenya West votes. It will be hard for him to convince them to go forward. Gachagua is a ground mobilizer. He moved the mountain towards Ruto and now he is going to run away with it going forward.” Said Robert.
” When one is wounded, he or she runs back home. He is going back to reenergize and plan again. Maybe he needs that before adding us more taxes. Hard times ahead for all Kenyans going forward.” Posted Angela.
