Orange democratic Party Secretary general Senator Edwin Sifuna has taken to social media platforms to celebrate the declaration by Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga while in Machakos.
Sifuna, who has been bashing President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza administration for allegedly failing to fulfill the promises made to Kenyans prior to election could not hide his happiness after it was made clear that Orange democratic Party will not automatically support President William Ruto’s re-election bid in the 2027 general election.

Speaking in Machakos, ODM party leader Honorable Raila Odinga asked those claiming that the party will stand with Ruto to stop since such resolution has not been made yet.
Raila claimed that the party will sit and deliberate on the matter before giving further directions. He directed that its members concentrate on assisting President William Ruto stabilize the country for now without necessarily focusing on the next general election.
