Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been dominating headlines in the country for a period of time now. That is because of his outbursts and leadership style that have been causing plenty of reactions from different leaders and Kenyans at large. In his Mt. Kenya backyard, things have even been worse as leaders like Kimani Ichung’wah and other top leaders have publicly attacked the DP live on air.

Just recently, a section of Mt. Kenya leaders named Interior CS Kithure Kindiki as their kingpin, causing more pain to Gachagua and today, things were even bitter on the side of the Second in Command after details emerged of what happened yesterday in Karen.

According to reports, several top leaders from North Kenya snubbed DP Rigathi Gachagua’s meeting to discuss big money projects in the region, something that made the DP to loose his calm as he angrily attacked the leaders.

The DP made it clear that all leaders from the Region were invited. For that reason, he called on the residents to ask tough questions to the leaders who missed the event. He explained that the meeting was to address critical issues affecting the people in the region, and thus, those leaders who failed to attend did let their people down.

Deputy President Gachagua did not stop there but he went on to say that the meeting was also meant to review status of State investments, a move that would enable them to get inclusive insights to ensure no one is left behind.
