Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was seen walking in mud in Embu. The video of him walking with other Mount Kenya region leaders left Kenyans talking.
A section of Kenyans sympathized with him keeping in mind that just two months ago, he was the second in command and could not have stepped in the mud like that. Well, details have emerged on who rose to the occasion to save him by sharing his shoes with him.
According to the post made by Kiambu County senator Karungo Wa Thang’wa. He was forced to lend Gachagua his shoes after his were stuck in the mad. He helped him in the time of need and did not allow Shane to follow him.

“Once in a while, step into your father’s shoes to see if they fit. Yes they did fit! It’s uplifting to see RiggyG jovial and staying strong. #EmbuAsante Together, we trudged through the mud, tukakanyaga matope, yet our faces shone with happiness and hope.
#EmbuToday” posted Kiambu Senator.
Kenyans have thanked him for being a principled man and standing with the second in command in the time of need without moving even an inch. Karungo has been on record defending Gachagua since the impeachment period.
