Kenyans have been left talking after a TikTok video surfaced showing a woman from the Kisii region claiming to be the biological mother of singer Kevin Bahati.
In the viral clip, the woman alleged that she gave birth to Bahati many years ago but was forced by circumstances to surrender him to a children’s home, where he later grew up.
Her statement instantly ignited conversations online, with many demanding clarity from the award-winning artist.
Bahati has now responded to the claims, addressing his fans through a brief statement. According to the musician, the allegations have deeply confused him, especially because he grew up knowing that his biological mother passed away when he was still young.
