Well, this explains why he completely avoided the impeachment motion against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Speaking at an interview with a local station, Owino revealed how Gachagua called him and what he asked him not to vote in favour of the impeachment process. This made Babu Owino avoid the whole process in totality.
“Riggy G called me during impeachment and asked me “my son pls don’t send me home”,I assured him I had not seen a valid reason to send him home and I never participated in his impeachment,when I take position I never change mind,even now when I tell mt kenya people am with them that’s me and that’s the truth.” Said Babu Owino during interview with Kameme FM.
