According to her, many people have been frustrating her, especially during funeral functions in Migori. It is therefore her mission to run for a seat so that she can be valued and respected like other leaders.
She is known for raising her kids alone and even adopting some kids that she is actively raising as her own. She also has a school where the less fortunate in the society are receiving education freely.
