The speaker of the national assembly was forced to rush home quickly and spend the weekend there ahead of the Chwele -Kabuchai Ward By-election. According to sources close to the speaker of the national assembly Honorable Moses Wetangula.
Things are not turning out as expected in his political career. According to the video which has been shared online, Wetangula is seen begging the people of Chwele -Kabuchai Ward not to abandon him during this period.

According to him , people at the national level are watching what is unfolding in Kabuchai closely. They want to know if he still has energy to fight politically and if they vote for another candidate, then, he will be exposed and it will affect development in the region.
Wetangula also addressed the distraction of properties belonging to the area member of Parliament Honorable Majimbo Kalasinga. According to Wetangula, he is a responsible person who cannot order people to destroy properties. He asked those campaigning to remain peaceful ahead of the by-election.
