Nairobi — National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah has sparked fresh controversy after alleging details surrounding the reported raid on former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s farm, where goats were stolen and property vandalized.
Speaking during an interview on the popular Obina Live show hosted by comedian and media personality Oga Obinna, Ichung’wah claimed that the operation was planned at the office of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
According to Ichung’wah, the planning and coordination of the alleged raid took place during Gachagua’s tenure in office. He claimed that upon visiting the Deputy President’s office, he encountered two Members of Parliament who had allegedly been tasked with organizing individuals to carry out the attack.
The Majority Leader further alleged that funds were disbursed to facilitate the mobilization of “goons” who would execute the raid. He also claimed that certain police officers were instructed not to provide security at the farm during the incident, allowing the perpetrators to carry out their actions without interference.
