Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga passed away in India on October 15, 2025. He was in India for treatment together with Gus family; his daughter Winnie Odinga and his bodyguard Ogeta and his personal doctor.
According to reports, Raila collaped while having a walk with his family. He was rushed to the hospital but lost his life during the process. Well, a video has emerged of how his personal Doctor fought so hard to save his patient.

According to the video shared online, Dr. Olunya is seen running around to continue with chest compressions as Raila’s body is being Wheeled to the hospital from an ambulance.
The video has elicited mixed reactions online with Kenyans praising him for standing besides Orange democratic Party leader, Honorable Raila Odinga to the last minute of his life on Earth.
His bodyguard too is seen rushing to help medics load Raila to the hospital stretcher which was awaiting when they arrived at the facility.
The compressions continued until he was taken to the intensive care unit where unfortunately he lost his life after intensive resuscitation by the team of doctors. May his soul rest in eternal Peace.
