Former Kitui County governor Charity Ngilu has set social media on fire after a dramatic weekend event.
A viral video circulating online shows the veteran politician visibly furious at a local fundraiser.
She publicly humiliated two members of the county assembly affiliated with the ruling UDA party.

Ngilu immediately lost her cool after seeing the thin envelope handed to the harambee committee.
She snatched the microphone and confronted the embarrassed local leaders in front of everybody.
UDA MCAs Humiliated Over Small Harambee Contribution
“You cannot come here with two thousand shillings,” Ngilu shouted into the mic.
She claimed politicians close to President William Ruto are eating government money alone.
According to her, any contribution from Ruto allies must start from twenty thousand shillings upwards.
“Tokeni hapa kabisa!” she ordered as the crowd burst into wild cheers.
Crowd Demands UDA Politicians Leave Venue
The crowd quickly sided with the former governor and started chanting.
They demanded the MCAs pick up their small cash and walk out immediately.
Left with no choice, the humiliated politicians gathered their things and walked away quietly.
