A quiet morning in Palm Beach, Florida, took a sudden turn before dawn on Sunday as local law enforcement responded to an unusual security situation at one of the area’s most closely watched private estates.
The normally tranquil stretch of coastline where rolling surf meets manicured lawns was disrupted in the early hours, just as overnight shifts were preparing to hand off patrol duties.
