Orange Democratic party leader Honorable Raila Odinga is targeting to clinch AUC Seat in an election slotted next month. If he wins, he will succeed Musa Faki who is retiring after serving his term.
Well, as Odinga aims to head to Ethiopia. His political backyard is experiencing tension on who will lead the party. Despite the appointment of the professor Nyong’o as the interim leader, people are still feeling it will be messy in ODM without Odinga.

Well, while speaking in Siaya county on January 11, 2024. Raila told his supporters what to do when he fails to win the seat.
Speaking in Siaya county at a Funeral service in Yimbo. Odinga asked his people to remain united and peaceful whether he wins the election or not. He told them it is their Unity that will help them have a strong negotiation power politically.
“Opposition leader Raila Odinga has asked his Nyanza political bedrock to remain united irrespective of whether or not he succeeds in his bid to chair the African Union Commission.” Report.
