Today on October 29, 2024. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is at Milimani law courts, Nairobi, ready for his case.
His advocates were allowed to make their opening remarks on a plea filled by government advocates. The advocates are asking the court to lift conservatory orders imposed by Kerugoya Court.
Well, during the submission. Advocate Elisha Ongoya, who is representing Gachagua asked Judges to allow Gachagua to run to Mount Kenya, face east and shout to the world that our country is governed by the constitution.

“Advocate Elisha Ongoya: I ask this court to urge Rigathi Gachagua to run to the top of Mount Kenya, face east and tell the world that our country is governed by the Constitution.” Read report.
The advocates representing Gachagua are asking the judges not to lift conservatory orders until the case is heard and determined.
They are submitting that, the Senate and national assembly rushed the process of impeachment without giving Gachagua fair hearing.
