According to Ichungwa’h on his X account, Bishops should just go straight to the point and name those corrupt leaders they know. Consequently, they should take the information they have to relevant authorities so for investigation and prosecution. He has also thrown salvos at men of God blaming them for taking sides politically.

“Dear Catholic Bishops,
Let us all be HONEST. If you have any information on corrupt legislators, pls furnish info to investigate agencies or just name them and shame them.
On this  Cherargei bill that died in the senate for lack of support , how does a dead private members bill find its way in your statement?
Otherwise my Lord Bishops, the drafter of this statement is portraying you either as liars or as politically partisan people seeking to play to a political gallery.” Posted Ichungwa’h.

Kimani Ichungwa’h is one of the leaders allied to President William Ruto and has been Publicly pushing his agenda at all cost. A few weeks ago, he led a team of legislators to impeach Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. In his submission, he claimed that the former second in command was tribal and could not therefore lead a whole country.

He is currently focused on pushing government Agenda like SHA and SFU in Parliament. He has been on record asking Kenyans to be patient with President William Ruto’s government promising they will deliver soon.
