Just In: Speaker Kingi Forced To Pause Kawira Impeachment Briefly Over What Happened At Senate

KAWIRA MWANGA IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS.

Kenyans are now glued on their television to witness the impeachment proceedings of Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza. Mwangaza was impeached by Meru County assembly over various Issues ranging from;

1. Gross violation of the constitution.
2. Misappropriation of public Funds
3. Illegal appointments and firing of officers in the county without next stipulated procedures.

In her defence, she pleaded not guilty to the charges. She termed the impeachment as political witch hunt from her rivals. Through her lawyers, she is defending herself at the Senate trying to save her political career. This is third time she is being impeached.

Dramatic Shouting At The Senate.

From the video shared online by various sources. All was well at the Senate until this afternoon. A shouting meeting from the Senate chambers forced Speaker Amason Kingi to briefly pause the proceedings. He instructed Sargent at arms to check what was happening before proceeding.

Officers attached to the Senate are seen running around. They move towards the direction of the noise. As they try to prove what was happening. It was not yet clear the intentions of whoever was shouting. Her identity has not been identified too.

Public Reaction.

The general public has reacted to the nosie. Sole are claiming it is a ploy to distract member of the Senate from impeachment motion. However, some are waiting for the authority to issue a clear picture of what really happened.
