This was after youths demanded the dismissal of his entire government. They also demanded he steps down from his position after youths were shot dead in the deadly protests.
Well, another president has decided that everyone in Parliament goes home. He has ordered them to prepare for a snap election that will come in 90 days. The decision has elicited mixed reaction online.
Senegal President Diomaye Faye has taken a strong stance on his administration. According to reports form Senegal, everyone in the Parliament has been relieved their duties.
They will have to go back to the people and seek mandate again. This has sparked mixed reactions across the country on how Faye is so determined to have accountability.

Residents have taken to social media to celebrate the decision. They are asking him to go ahead and fire everyone who is not performing well for the people.
” The president is on the right track. He should go deeper and fire more. The people will now have a date with their leaders on the ballot” Said Ahmed.
