Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is currently touring the Mount Kenya region with a clear message, not to vote for Ruto in the 2027 general election. He is so determined in making sure that the Kenya Kwanza administration is sent home completely in the next general election.
Flanked by his allies, his tour started well and he was seen addressing a roadside rally fully packed in Chuka, Tharaka Nithi County. All was well until he arrived in Meru county.

According to him, the Kenya Kwanza administration paid Youths through their respective members of Parliaments to cause chaos. He alleged that legislators paid Youths to Stone his entourage, a convoy that was peaceful and only focused on addressing residents who had turned up in large numbers.
Gachagua has asked those in government to stop playing petty politics and instead focus on delivering the Promises they made to Kenyans who elected them. He vowed to teach them a lesson come 2027 general election.
