Kasipul member of Parliament Honorable Charles Were was shot Dead by assailants who escaped on a motorbike leaving his bodyguards struggling to save the late legislator.

According to the CCTV obtained by various media houses and the DCI, the suspects trailed the late legislator. A man was spotted monitoring all movements made by the late legislator up to the time he was taken out by several bullets at the city mortuary roundabout.

Well, the director of criminal investigation has finally released the identities of those involved in the murder.

DCI reveals the names of suspects who were involved in the tragic shooting of Hon. Charles Ong’ondo Were, Namely; Edwin Oduor Odhiambo, also known as Abdul Rashid, and Dennis Sewe Munyasi

DCI also reveals that surveillance footage, financial proceeds, and the identification of a vehicle used to drop off the suspects are among the key evidence now guiding investigators in reconstructing the events surrounding the fatal shooting.

Police also recovered a pistol linked the crime. The MP’s driver and bodyguard are also detained for conflicting accounts statements.
