Political temperatures in Mount Kenya region are rising ahead of President William Ruto visit. Those allied to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have been asking residents to ask President William Ruto tough questions ahead of his visit.
Ruto and his allies are expected to be in the central region for seven days. They have termed the tour developmental but it is seen as a political move to cut Gachagua to size.

Well, one group of Kenyans has made a move that has been seen by many as a way of saving the head of state from those allied to Gachagua.
The clergy have moved with speed to ask mount Kenya youths to welcome the president and not make be rawdy during the meeting.
“Clerics under the umbrella of Federation of Evangelical and Indigenous Christian Churches of Kenya led by Bishop Ngacha Njiriri, beseeched Mt Kenya youths not to be used to cause mayhem during President William Ruto’s tour in the region.” Report.
