Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has changed tune on his impeachment. Previously, the former second in command demanded reinstatement as the Deputy President of the republic of Kenya, a position that is currently being held by professor Kithure Kindiki.
In a new twist, Gachagua has sent in new demands that have left Kenyans talking, Gachagua has asked the court to allow him withdraw the petition that he was demanding to be reinstated. He now demands to be compensated for his money in totality.

Gachagua was removed from office unceremoniously for allegedly being tribal. In an Impeachment moved by Mutuse, the former second in command was accused of only focusing on Mount Kenya region and neglecting other areas.
He was also accused of taking money from his brother. They claimed that he disinherited the family and made his sons the directors in a hotel in the coast region.
Well, Kenyans are waiting to see how things will play out and if Gachagua will be given money and all packages.
