Orange democratic Party Secretary general Senator Edwin Sifuna has been under siege for long now from a section of leaders allied to the broad based administration. Despite being shielded by the late party leader Honorable Raila Odinga from the attacks.
Many people within the ODM party have been calling for his firing, maintaining that he is a hindrance to the official formation of a recognized joint association between ODM and Kenya Kwanza administration.
Well, today on October 27, 2025. Sifuna has landed in trouble and is being accused of representing former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s sentiments.

According to Kileleshwa ward MCA Robert Alai, there is no way a secretary general of the best opposition party will read a statement by the party supporting the government and at the same time claim to be against broad based government.
Alai has asked Sifuna to stop playing games and instead just call it a day in ODM and join the DCP party which is associated with Gachagua.
