As this month nears its end, the pressure continue mounting on Kenyans Raila Odinga and Djibouti’s Mahmoud Ali. That is because the two are considered to be the horses in the Africa Union Chairperson race in the forthcoming poll.
Here in the country, some people have been claiming that they support the Djibouti candidate and today, Mahmoud Ali responded with a message to them.
Through his official X account, Mahmoud Ali thanked the people of Kenya for their overwhelming support and encouragement. He went on to tell Kenyans that their support, trust, belief and unwavering faith in his vision for the continent inspires him every day.
That is a strong message from the Djibouti’s Candidate just few days to the much awaited poll. It is as well a reminder to Raila Odinga that he needs to do more in order to beat his opponent who seemed to be well pressured for the big race.
