Kimilili member of Parliament Didmus Barasa was humiliated infront of President William Ruto by Kanduyi residents. According to the video shared online, he was forced to shorten his speech in a rally after heckling started. Him pleading to be allowed to speak failed to bore fruits as he was asked to stop the address.
President William Ruto watched closely as dramatic events unfolded. Barasa eventually listened to the residents and handled over his mike to Usonga member of Parliament, Atandi.
Well, he has taken to his official X account in a sign to show all is well. He has posted pictures of him with President William Ruto inspection progress of stadium being constructed in Kanduyi.
“Accompanied President William Ruto as he inspected the ongoing Construction of Masinde muliro Stadium in Kanduyi.The stadium is expected to be completed by December this year.#DidmusBarasaGov27” posted Barasa.

Barasa is targeting to succeed Ken Lusaka as Bungoma County governor. He has intensified his ground visibility by camping in Bungoma and also buying a chopper.
According to sources close to him. He is being fronted by Moses Wetangula who is planning to hold Bungoma county tightly. He left his seat as Bungoma senator to take over national assembly speaker.
