Just a year after securing a second term in office. Former President Uhuru Kenyatta called his political brother Odinga for a meeting. A meeting that cumulated to handshake that saw William Ruto isolated from the government he helped form.
During this period, the political brothers created a bond that was seen as special by many political commentators. The handshake led to Uhuru declaration Raila was his best Candidate for 2022 general election.
Well, as we were shown the perfect side of the relationship between the duo. It seems like there was hidden side that was not good between them. According to the latest revelation by those close to Raila, there was an incidence that left them shocked.
According Kileleshwa war MCA Robert Alai, he has claimed Uhuru Kenyatta refused to help Raila Odinga’s daughter in law get her job back. It is alleged that Oburu Odinga daughter in-law who was military officers attended Odinga rally at Kasarani. She was later dismissed from service unceremoniously. The effort of Odinga to plead with Uhuru who was president then landed on deaf years as he was ignored by Uhuru.

When Raila Odinga launched his presidential campaign at Kasarani, the daughter-in-law of Senator Oburu was among those in attendance.The problem is that she was serving in the military. Immediately after she left the event, KDF sent military police to escort her out of the Langata barracks in the middle of the night.” Posted Alai.
