Former Kitui County governor Her Excellency Charity Ngilu has Joined other Kenyans in condemning the statement made by Nyeri County governor His Excellency Mutahi Kahiga.
In a video seen online, Kahiga claimed that the late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga passed away because he was taking the development made for the Agikuyu people to Nyanza and Western region.
According to Ngilu, governor Mutahi Kahiga must issue a public apology for his remarks on the passing on of Raila Odinga.

She claimed that, it is unfortunate for someone with such a following and a higher position to issue such remarks in public. She termed the remarks as reckless, unwarranted and despicable to come from him.
The statements attributed to Gov Mutahi Kahiga are grossly despicable, reckless and an unwarranted attack on a grieving family and a community that is still reeling from a monumental loss.
