Azimio La Umoja leaders have unveiled Raila Odinga replacement after part of his allies were named by Ruto in his administration.
Speaking at Kalonzo Musyoka center today, Jubilee Party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni declared that the coalition sat and agreed that Kalonzo Musyoka is the best person to replace Odinga.
They claimed that the decision was arrived at after wide consultation and consideration. Kioni went on to say that, the move will give Odinga time to campaign for his AU position actively.
” Today, we have all agreed that Kalonzo Musyoka is our leader as Azimio brigade. We will support him fully going forward as he Defend this country together with youths” stated Kioni
This is coming just a day after President William Ruto stunned Kenyans by naming few big names from opposition to his cabinet. It is not yet clear how they arrived at such decision.
ODM Party secretary general Sifuna dismissed claims that, the party joined president William Ruto administration. He maintained that those who were appointed do not have blessings of opposition chief, and are on their own.
Raila Odinga himself, is yet to issue a statement of public clarification on what is really happening within the opposition coalition. Kenyans are waiting to hear from him the way forward.
