For months now, Orange Democratic party leader, Honerable Raila Odinga has been working with President William Ruto.
They came together after volatile youths protests that rocked the country. His allies were appointed to the cabinet under new name- board based government.
Despite youths protesting the move, Ruto and Raila jointly agreed to work together leading to political analysts predicting a possible pact in 2027.
Well, Raila Odinga has made a declaration that might change the dynamics of Kenyan politics in 2027. His statement will send Ruto back to the drawing board.
According to Raila Odinga. He is planning to have the Orange democratic Party form the government in the next election, 2027. He has asked Kenyan youths to Join the party massively so that they can achieve their leadership dream.
In this case, President William Ruto will have to change his tactics now that he has issues with Mount Kenya political base after the impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua. He has been working hard to consolidate Nyanza block and that of the Western region.
” I want to ask Kenyans, especially youths to register in large numbers as ODM members. We want our party to form the next government. It will be achieved by their registration.” Said Raila Odinga.
