The debate on who is the Mount Kenya region kingpin has been going on for a very long time. Since his election to the office before unceremoniously being impeached, Gachagua has been fighting to control the region politically.
He has on various occasions declared himself as the regional spokesperson. Well, Kindiki has joined the discussion clearing the air on who is the Mount Kenya region kingpin.
Speaking in Embu County in a video attached below, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki declared himself as the mouth Kenya region kingpin.

According to him, he is currently the only senior most person politically In Power. Therefore, Gachagua declaring himself as the kingpin is unfortunate since he was not elected by anyone.
I have not said this before but let me now Open up. Someone has been moving around here declaring himself as the regional kingpin. I want to tell him that he was not elected by anyone and as per the moment. I’m the senior most person in the government and this gives me authority to be the leader here. ” Said Kithure Kindiki while in Embu County campaigning for Wamudhende.
