Moi University, a Once giant of Africa public University is on it’s knees. The once a prestigious institution that almost everyone in north Rift, Western and Nyanza region fought to join is gone.
But what is really killing this institution? Is it tribal card or just corruption? If it is syphoning of public resources there, who is responsible and why are they not arrested? That is a question of another day.
Well, today on October 3, 2024. Moi University asked it’s students to vacate the premises immediately in a latter seen by us. Students have been asked to vacate University premises with immediate effect.
Those who a residing within the premise have been asked to leave too. The international students have been asked to visit Dean office for further directions.
The reason for immediate decision is because of the current protests from lectures and students which has caused tension. We will keep you posted on the progress as it unfolds.
