Former President Uhuru Kenyatta and the late Prime Minister and Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga were friends for many years.
In 2018, they came together under the handshake administration and went on up to the 2022 general election where Uhuru publicly campaigned for Odinga to become President.
Those who were close to them described their relationship as beyond politics. They used to meet privately and discuss matters outside the political sphere.

Well, Kenyans have been left praising Uhuru Kenyatta over what he did today, just a day after Odinga was laid to rest in Bondo. According to the Video seen online, the former President and his entire team made an entry back to Kajaramogi farm to condole with the family just a day after Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga was laid to rest.
This gesture has left many people praising him for standing with the family even after the rest of Kenyans have left for their homes. It is a true definition of brotherhood and a proof that they really loved each other during their handshake time. May his soul rest in peace.
