Kenyans are mourning the death if 12 citizens who lost their lives on Embu- Meru highway at Nithi Bridge. According to the police officers report. The vehicles was ferrying people from Tharaka who had gone to celebrate with one of their friend. They were all from Rongai, Nairobi. The accident happened while they were heading back home after the party.
” The dreaded Nithi Bridge along Meru-Embu road cut short the lives of 12 people. The group from Rongai had visited one of the friends parents in Meru and things turned tragic on their way back to Nairobi after they were involved in an accident” Read report
From the Video obtained by this writer. They are seen dancing and enjoying the party. They were all full of lives before their dreams were taken away by accident.
Nithi Bridge is a hot spot that has claimed many lives. Leaders from national government and county government have been asked to act quickly and save Kenyans from that death trap.
