Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga will be laid to rest in Bondo, Siaya County next to his mother Mama Marry Odinga who passed away in 1984.
According to the reports, Raila Odinga stated in his will that he should be laid to rest there and his wish should be respected.
Well, according to the video shared online, Preparations are in top gear in Siaya. His final resting point has been identified already. The bishop together with Oburu Odinga are seen digging up the first soil as per the tradition before they leave the rest of the work to the community.

The Orange democratic Party leader will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 19, 2025. He is expected to be wheeled to Nyayo stadium where he will be received by the President and other dignitaries. Other Leaders across the globe are expected to land in Kenya tomorrow ahead of the funeral on Sunday.
His Body landed back in the country on KQ airways. A delegation of leaders arrived in Mumbai, India to accompany his remains home after he passed away at the local hospital. His personal doctor tried everything to save him but unfortunately he lost his life at the intensive care unit. May his soul rest in eternal Peace.
