Former President Uhuru Kenyatta was seen crying uncontrollably after the announcement of the death of former Prime Minister, Honorable Raila Odinga.
In the video, the retired head of state is seen hugging Mama Ida Odinga who is too overwhelmed with the news.

Uhuru and Raila Odinga worked together during his last term in office. They even joined Azimio La Umoja together when he supported Odinga for the top seat.
Uhuru has since then remained Raila’s family close friend. Even after handing over power to President William Ruto in 2022. They maintained that Odinga will always remain to be his leader, something that left many people allied to Raila Odinga praising him.
Kenyatta was among the dignitaries who arrived at the home of Raila Odinga for a night vigil after the Kasarani drama. He offered his condolences to the family and promised to continue his ties with Mama Ida who is now left behind after the Demise of her husband.
