Honorable Charles Were Ong’ondo was assassinated by gun men on a motorbike. The vocal legislator was killed at the City mortuary roundabout leaving Kenyans demanding for answers over his death.
Prior to his assassination, Ong’ondo had on various occasions called on Police officers to act quickly and arrest those planning to kill him. He had claimed that those planning his death were not from Kasipul but rather from very far counties such as Siaya and Kisumu.
Well, another video of him has emerged. In the video, the slain legislator is heard predicting his own death and naming the real target that the assassins will be going after he is gone.
Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ondo Were had revealed that he was going to be killed because of 2027 and 2032 succession politics, and the target was Gladys Wanga. He continued by claiming that those people targeting to eliminate him wanted to get to Gladys Wanga who is his friend and political planner.
In the same video, Ong’ondo again mentioned where those planning to kill him were going to come from. He claimed that they were going to come from Siaya, Migori and Kisumu county.
Honorable Charles Were also asked Gladys Wanga to be more careful since the political temperatures in Homabay County were rising so high with a lot of evil people.
